First, I want to say thank you to everyone who has continued supporting Caribbean Chit. Whether you’ve been here for years or just recently joined, your support helps make it possible for me to travel to events, capture footage, and continue sharing Caribbean Carnival culture with all of you.
As many of you know, I’ve recently made a change to how videos are delivered to members. Instead of uploading videos directly to Patreon, videos are now hosted on my website and shared through Patreon posts.
The main reason for this change is that I was running into increasing restrictions and content moderation issues with video hosting platforms. Even though my videos are filmed at public Carnival events, some hosting services were flagging or removing content, making it difficult to maintain a consistent library for members. Moving to my own website gives me much more control and helps ensure that content remains available long-term.
That said, Patreon is still very much a part of the experience. Access to member-only videos is still connected to your Patreon membership through Patreon integration on the website. In other words, Patreon continues to manage your membership and access levels—the videos are simply being delivered through the website instead of being uploaded directly to Patreon.
I’m also excited to announce that we’ve officially started uploading content from Orlando Carnival 2026! New videos are already being posted, and there’s plenty more footage coming soon.
In addition, I’ll be working on restoring and uploading older content from the archives. There are a lot of videos to go through, so it won’t happen overnight, but my goal is to gradually bring back as much of the previous content as possible so members can enjoy both the latest events and classic footage.
I know transitions like this can sometimes be inconvenient, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience while I get everything set up and organized. My goal is to create a more stable home for the content and make sure these videos remain available for years to come.
Thank you again for sticking with me and supporting Caribbean Chit. There are a lot of exciting Carnival events ahead, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
See you in the next video!
